The goal of the SAIN program is provide comprehensive, coordinated child
sexual assault investigation and follow up services.
When sexual abuse is
suspected the team is able to bring together all the necessary professionals in
one child-friendly location, thereby eliminating the need for repeat interviews
in scary places like police stations.
Following the interview professionals meet regularly to share information,
make decisions and track the case through the system.
