Child and Family Counseling

Berkshire County Kids’ Place provides both group and individual therapy to children and teens who have been victims of, or witnesses to, physical abuse, sexual abuse, or domestic violence.

Our clinicians are highly trained professionals who specialize in the treatment of trauma. They are sensitive to the particular needs of children and teens who have been victims of violence. The clinical program is specially tailored to respond to individual needs and help young people connect with peers who have had similar experiences.

Groups incorporate elements of traditional talk therapy, adventure based counseling and art therapy.

Our clinical team also provides individual and group support to non-offending parents whose children have been victims of abuse or traumatized by violence.

For more information or to make a referral, contact

Joann Oliver at 413-499-2800.
